Marina had a wonderful packed week in the U.S recording Christopher Theofanidis' flute concerto (The Universe in Ecstatic Motion) in Boston at Jordan Hall with conductor Gil Rose and the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP). This concerto, written especially for Marina, is a co-commission between Aspen Music Festival, the Buffalo and Erie Philharmonics, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, and the Grant Park Music Festival.
