Marina returns to the Aspen Music Festival on August 16 for another performance of Christopher Theofanidis' stunning flute concerto The Universe in Ecstatic Motion written especially for Marina. She's joined by the Aspen Chamber Orchestra conducted by Cristian Măcelaru. The concerto is a co-commission by Aspen, the Buffalo and Erie Philharmonics, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, and the Grant Park Music Festival, where it was premiered with raves.
